KMF Metals, Inc., a metal polisher located in Milwaukee Wisconsin and serving the Chicago and Illinois area, has performed both polishing and welding on parts/fabrications that are installed in buildings located all over the US. We are known for producing quality work at a competitive price while meeting ALL of our customer's lead time demands. We begin our 10th year of servicing the needs of our customers in January of 2010, Projects of Distinction The buildings below include samples of our expertise in mirror polishing, number four stainless steel polishing, and other customer specified finishes. We have polished a widenumber of different sizes of parts ranging from the small window frame channels in the Pentagon to large fountain beams at the CompuServe World Headquarters. Willis Tower Project (Chicago) We have been involved with many high profile prestige projects culminating in our work in 2009 on the Willis Tower's 30 ft tall, 30 ft diameter globe composed of 3.5 inch diameter frame tubing with the continents cut out of 3/16 inch stainless steel. We will have polished over 500 seam welds to a seamless finish and have removed forming lines, scratches and 'dings' while putting a grain on over 4000 ft of stainless steel tubing.
